The Missions committee attempts to meet each month.  Meetings will be held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30.

Salem Provided a meal at Sheltering Wings on Friday, March 17th for residents of Sheltering Wings, a domestic violence shelter in Danville, IN.

 

Because the updating of their kitchen facility will not be completed for a while, Salem has a second opportunity to set up, provide, serve, clean up with a meal plus offer fellowship on Sunday, April 23rd. Men, women and youth are encouraged to volunteer for this mission opportunity. Akard's True Value Hardware and Salem United Methodist Church teamed up in 2008 for a Zionsville community campaign to benefit local community service efforts and a hurricane reconstruction trip.

 

The Mission Team also helped out in Columbus, IN after flooding in June of 2008.
